Six drug smugglers held with 1.20 lakh yaba pieces | Others

DHAKA, Sept 9, 2025 (BSS) - The Bangladesh Coast Guard has arrested six drug smugglers and recovered 1.20 lakh pieces of Yaba tablets along with a wooden boat during a special drive off the coast of Saint Martin's Island in Cox's Bazar. The estimated market value of the seized contraband is nearly Taka 6 crore. The information was disclosed in a press release issued by Coast Guard media officer Lieutenant Commander Siam-ul Huq, received here today.
