BSEC flags unregistered Facebook pages spreading misinformation on share prices

The Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) has identified several Facebook pages which are not registered with the regulator that claim to provide advance information about changes in stock market prices. On Tuesday, the BSEC issued a statement urging investors to remain cautious, saying these social media pages are carrying out “fraudulent” activities related to share prices.
