DHAKA, Sept 9, 2025 (BSS) - FIDE Master Subrota Biswas of Dhaka University took solo lead in the points table with 4.5 points after the fifth round of 49th National ‘B’ Chess Championship held at Bangladesh Chess Federation hall-room today today. Five players shared the second position with four points. They are FIDE Master Tahsin Tajwar Zia of Bangladesh Ansar, International Master Md. Minhaz Uddin & FIDE Master Sheikh Nasir Ahmed of Bangladesh Navy, International Master Abu Safian Shakil and FIDE Master Sakline Mostafa Sajid of Bangladesh Army. Eight players shared the third position with 3.5 points.
