Pakistan HC meets Jamaat amir in Dhaka

Pakistan’s High Commissioner to Bangladesh, Imran Haider, paid a courtesy visit to Dr Shafiqur Rahman, Amir of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, at his residence in Bashundhara, Dhaka, on Tuesday. The two sides held a cordial and wide-ranging discussion on matters of mutual interest between Bangladesh and Pakistan. Both expressed hope that the fraternal ties between the two nations would grow stronger in the years ahead, building on their shared historical and cultural connections.
