The voting in the long-awaited Dhaka University Central Students' Union (DUCSU) and hall unions elections has ended amid festive atmosphere. The voting opened at 8:00am at 810 booths in eight centres of the university and ended at 4:00pm on Tuesday, September 9, without any break. Chief Returning Officer Professor Dr Md Jasim Uddin told reporters that voting in the DUCSU and hall union elections has been concluded with no major incidents reported throughout the day. Students cast their vote spontaneously and the overall atmosphere at polling centres was peaceful, he said.
