Chief Election Commissioner Md Jasim Uddin has said there is no concern over the law-and-order situation before the Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) election. On Monday afternoon, outside the DUCSU Election Commission office, he briefed the media on preparations for the election. Voting will continue uninterrupted from 8am to 4pm, and students present at polling centres at 4pm will also be allowed to cast their ballots, he said. According to the schedule, the DUCSU election will be held on Tuesday, Sept 9.
