Dhaka to remain dry on day of DUCSU election, forecast says

The Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) and hall elections are to be held on Tuesday after a six-year gap. The Bangladesh Meteorological Department says that the weather in Dhaka will largely remain dry on the day, with showers not expected to dampen the proceedings. Meteorologist Tariful Newaz Kabir said on Monday, “The weather is likely to be relatively dry [on Tuesday]. [On Monday] there was a little rain in the afternoon, so there is less chance of rain tomorrow. “However, it is the rainy season, so the sky will be a bit cloudy.
