PWD Sub-Asstt Eng Ahsanul given ‘forced retirement’ for corruption allegations | Others

DHAKA, Sept 8, 2025(BSS) - The Ministry of Public Works and Housing has given former Sub-Assistant Engineer of Rajshahi PWD Circle Khandkar Md Ahsanul Haque ‘forced retirement’ for corruption allegations. The ministry in a press release here today said that he (Ahsanul) has been given ‘forced retirement’ from the service for his “involvement” in excessive expenses of government money in Ruppur Green City Project. Khandkar Ahsanul Haque was found guilty through two separate investigation committees constituted by the Public Works Directorate and the ministry as well. His ‘gross misconduct’ was also undoubtedly proved by a departmental probe body, it said.
