Old video on Chattogram incident in 2024 misrepresented as Hathazari clash: BanglaFact  | Fact Check

DHAKA, Sept 8, 2025 (BSS) - BanglaFact, a fact-checking and media researchteam of Press Institute of Bangladesh (PIB), has identified a video claimingthe footage of baton charge by Bangladesh army during clashing between twoparties at Hathazari which is actually an incident of Chattogram in 2024. BanglaFact's investigation mentioned that the upazila administration imposedSection 144 on Saturday to control the situation arising from theconfrontation between the two sides in Hathazari, Chattogram.
