Khulna AL leader sent to jail | Law and Court

KHULNA, Sept 8, 2025 (BSS) - A court here today sent an Awami League leader, Sharmin Rahman Shikha, to jail in a vandalism case filed with Khalishpur Police Station of the district. Khulna Metropolitan Magistrate passed the order after cancelling her bail petition. Earlier, a team of the Detective Branch (DB) of Khulna Metropolitan Police (KMP), using mobile tracking, arrested Sharmin Rahman Shikha, president of Khalishpur Thana Unit Awami League (AL), on Sunday evening from the Khalishpur area in the city, Taymur Rahman, Inspector of DB of KMP, confirmed.
