The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has suspended an official over allegations of taking bribes to clear a former housing company chairman from a graft case. The suspended officer, Mohammad Zulfikar, served as an assistant director at the ACC’s headquarters in Dhaka. According to a suspension order signed by ACC Chairman Mohammad Abdul Momen on Thursday, Zulfikar is accused of receiving money from the former chairman of RKD Real Estate Company on multiple occasions.
