LONDON, Sept 7, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - The British government said on Sunday it was considering housing migrants on military sites, as anger grows among some sections of the public over a policy of accommodating asylum seekers in hotels. "We are looking at the potential use of military and non-military use sites for temporary accommodation for the people who come across on these small boats," Defence Secretary John Healey told Sky News.
