DHAKA, Sept 7, 2025 (BSS) - The government today issued a strict directive to the local administrations to be more active in dealing with any untoward incident or chaotic situation, observing that defeated and fallen forces are trying to disrupt the democratic progress by destroying peace and order in the country. The directive was issued from at high-level meeting with Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus in the chair at the State Guest House Jamuna in the city.The meeting was held to review the law and order situation across the country, said Chief Adviser's Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam at a press briefing at the Foreign Service Academy here after the meeting.
