Tarique Rahman to join virtually Thakurgaon dist BNP council tomorrow | Others

THAKURGAON, Sept 7, 2025 (BSS) - After a lapse of eight years, the Thakurgaon district BNP is set to hold its long-awaited biennial council tomorrow. Councillors will elect the new leadership in two posts through voting at the field of Thakurgaon Government Boys' High School. Eight hundred and eight councilors from the district's five upazilas and three Paurasavas will nominate their leaders for the party's future through voting. BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will officially inaugurate the conference at 10am while BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman will deliver a speech as the chief guest via online.
