7 arrested over attack on Nural Pagla's Darbar, burning his body in Rajbari | District

DHAKA, Sept 7, 2025 (BSS) – Members of the law enforcement agencies have so far arrested seven people after analyzing video footage of the recent attack and vandalism at the shrine of Nurul Haque alias Nurul Pagla and torching his body in Rajbari. Chief Adviser’s Deputy Press Secretary Mohammad Abul Kalam Azad Majumder revealed it at a press briefing at the Foreign Service Academy in the city. He said two of the arrestees are involved in local politics of the fascist Awami League, the party whose activities are currently banned in the country.
