BNP was founded to establish democracy, people's rights: Khasru | Others

DHAKA, Sept 7, 2025 (BSS) - BNP standing committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury today said BNP was founded with the objective of establishing democracy and people's rights. He said, "it is crucial for everyone to understand the context in which the BNP was established. Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman founded the party during a period when Bangladesh was grappling with a lack of democracy, political instability, a collapsed economy, and the suppression of people's political and constitutional rights."
