Man dies after being hit by train at Banani | Others

DHAKA, Sept 7, 2025 (BSS) - A young man was killed today after being hit by a train at Chairman-Bari railway gate in the capital's Banani.The deceased was identified as Mohammad Anich Mia, 25, a garment worker by profession, son of Mojibur Rahman. He hailed from Tirsha village under Sherpur Sadar district and currently lives in Korail Slum area of Mohakhali.The accident occurred at around 2:30 pm today while crossing the road on his way home from the garments to have lunch.Later, he was rescued in a serious condition and taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where the doctor on duty declared him dead around 5 pm today.Brother of the deceased Ashikur Rahman, who brought the deceased to the hospital,...
