DHAKA, Sept 07, 2025 (BSS)– Partners in Population and Development (PPD), an Intergovernmental Organization of 27 Developing Countries, located its headquarters in the capital, has elected its new executive committee for the 2025–2027 term as well as appointed a new executive director for the next three years. Tunisia has been elected as Chair, Pakistan as Secretary, Zimbabwe as Vice Chair, and Kenya as Treasurer of PPD for the next 3 years while China, Vietnam, Gambia, and Uganda have been elected as members of the Executive Committee, and Bangladesh is the permanent member led by the Advisor to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
