Tough action ordered against flash processions, illegal gatherings

The interim government has ordered strong legal measures against flash processions and illegal gatherings following a high-level meeting. The Chief Advisor’s Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam briefed reporters at the Foreign Service Academy in Dhaka on Sunday after the meeting at the State Guest House Jamuna. He said the meeting decided to step up monitoring of such activities and take stern action against those behind them. Local administrations have been instructed to take more proactive action.
