Workers block Mohakhali road, trigger severe congestion

Transport workers blocked the road in Mohakhali by parking buses across both lanes on Sunday, causing severe traffic congestion in Mohakhali and surrounding areas. Authorities from Banani Police Station and the Gulshan Traffic Division said discussions are underway to resolve the situation. Md. Rasel Sarwar, Officer-in-Charge of Banani Police Station, said a dispute occurred between drivers and workers of Ekata Paribahan and a few students from Titumir College who were assisting the traffic police.
