Pre-preparatory meeting on Durga Puja held in Jamalpur | District

JAMALPUR, Sept 7, 2025 (BSS) - A pre-preparatory meeting ahead of the upcoming Durga Puja was held at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner's office in the town this morning. Deputy Commissioner Hasina Begum presided over the meeting, while Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Iftekhar Yunus moderated the session. Officials from different government agencies, including Upazila Nirbahi Officers (UNOs), members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB), Police, Ansar, National Security Intelligence (NSI), as well as journalists, and Presidents and General Secretaries of the Bangladesh Puja Udjapan Parishad at district and upazila levels, attended the meeting.
