DHAKA, Sept 7, 2025 (BSS) - The Bangladesh Cricketers left Dhaka for United Arab Emirates (UAE) today to take part in the Asia Cup in two separate groups. The first group, which included captain Liton Das, Jaker Anik, Saif Hasan, Parvez Hossain Emon, Tanzid Hasan Tamim, Shamim Patwari, and others, left Dhaka at 10.15 AM. The second batch, however, will leave the country at 7.30 PM, according to a BCB press release. Bangladesh are drawn in Group B along with Afghanistan, Sri Lanka and Hong Kong. They will start their Asia Cup mission by taking on Hong Kong on September 11.
