Mahila AL leader Sweety held for organizing sudden procession in Tejgaon | Others

DHAKA, Sept 6, 2025 (BSS) - The Detective Branch (DB) of police has arrested Mahila Awami League leader Nahida Noor Sweety, the main organizer of the sudden procession in Tejgaon, from the capital's Kafrul area this afternoon. A team of DB Cyber Division arrested Sweety in a raid conducted at Kafrul thana area around 4:00 pm today, said a police press release. The arrested Sweety is the main planner and organizer of the sudden procession bringing in front of Rahim Metal Mosque in Tejgaon after Jummah prayer on Friday.
