9 AL men held for bringing out sudden processions at Tejgaon | Others

DHAKA, Sept 6, 2025 (BSS) - The Detective Branch (DB) of police has arrested nine leaders and activists of Awami League (AL) and its associate bodies from different parts of the capital on Friday and Saturday. The arrestees have been identified Kafrul Thana Chhatra League member Md. Ziaur Rahman, Habibullah Bahar University College Chhatra League member Rubel Hossain, Abdur Rahman,, Ridwan Rafi, Md. Fayim Talukder, Md. Firoz Ahmed (23), Md. Mehedi Hasan Hridoy, ATM Omar Faruk,and Md. Sajib Khan. DB Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Talebur Rahman confirmed their arrests today.
