Consultation meeting on reforms of NHRC Act held in Khulna | Others

KHULNA, Sept 06, 2025 (BSS)- Divisional consultative meeting on the reforms of National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) Act-2009 was held at a hotel here yesterday. The meeting was jointly organized by Legislative and Parliamentary Affairs wing of the Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Ministry, Swedish Embassy in Dhaka and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The day-long consultative meeting was attended by the government officials, representatives from the civil society, lawyers, academicians and the media persons. Chaired by the Additional Secretary of the Legislative and Parliamentary Affairs wing Dr Mohammad Mohiuddin, Secretary to the Legislative and Parliamentary Affairs wing Dr Hafiz Ahmed Chowdhury was present at the meeting as the chief guest.
