Nine arrested in Gulshan restaurant drug case sent to jail | Others

DHAKA, Sept 6, 2025 (BSS)-A court here today sent nine people, including their ring leader, to jail in connection with selling drugs at a restaurant in the capital's Gulshan area. The accused are Selim Prodhan (ring leader), Md Rakibul Islam Rafi (25), Sumon (39), Md Tawfiqul Islam (25), Md Rifat Hassan (25), Md Rabiul Hassan (25), Minhazur Rahman Tahjib (21), Md Mehedi Hassan (26) and Md Saimum Islam (25). Police produced the accused before the court of the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) and requested their detention until the completion of the investigation.
