VP hopeful Amartya Ray barred from JU student union election

Amartya Ray John has been disqualified from contesting for the vice-president post in the Jahangirnagar University Central Students’ Union (JUCSU) election. Amartya had submitted his nomination from the “Shompritir Oikya” panel, a coalition of multiple student political, cultural and social platforms. He had also begun campaigning on campus.
