EU envoy calls on Jamaat Ameer | Others

DHAKA, Sept 4, 2025 (BSS) - European Union (EU) Ambassador to Bangladesh Michael Miller today paid a courtesy call on Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman at his office in Bashundhara.The ambassador was accompanied by Deputy Head of Delegation Baiba Zarina.During the courtesy call and exchange of views, they discussed various issues of mutual interest of Bangladesh and the European Union.The issue of making democracy meaningful in Bangladesh also figured highly.They expressed hope that the mutual relations, development and progress between the two will continue in future.The ambassador also enquired about the health of the Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer.
