DMP seeks to clues to trace Ankhi Akhter's family | Others

DHAKA, Sept 4, 2025 (BSS) – Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s (DMP) victim support centre today sought clues for the family members of a rescued teenage girl having mental instability. According to a DMP statement people in the neighbourhood last found night 18-year-old l Ankhi Akhter at Kafrul area and handed her to Kafrul police station custody. It said the girl is fair-skinned and about 5 feet tall and at the time of her rescue she was wearing a black shirt and trousers. She could not tell police her address because of her apparent mentally instability, prompting them to hand her over their Victim Support Centre.
