Court scraps bail plea of Latif Siddique | Others

DHAKA, Sept 04, 2025 (BSS) - A court here today scrapped bail plea of former minister Abdul Latif Siddique and journalist Monjurul Alam Panna in a case filed under the Anti-Terrorism Act. Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Hasib Ullah Pias passed the order as defence counsels moved the pleas before the court. The court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Sarah Farzana Haque on August 29 sent 16 people, including Abdul Latif Siddique, to jail in the case.
