RAB arrests 3 with 37-kg touchstone from Gaibandha | Others

RANGPUR, Sept 4, 2025 (BSS) - A team of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 has seized a 37-kg touchstone idol (Mother-Child Sculpture) worth about Taka 1.50 crore and arrested three assumed smugglers from Katabari village in Gobindaganj upazila of Gaibandha district.The arrested were identified as Mizanur Rahman alias Shuja, 35, son of late Khalilur Rahman, Golam Firoz Liton, 30, son of AH Quddus, both of Katabari village under Gobindaganj upazila and Shibu Sarkar, 30, son of Anil Chandra Sarkar of Laksmanpur Baraisalpara village under Saidpur upazila of Nilphamari district.
