What the Election Commission says about Army deployment in DUCSU elections
Dhaka University Central Students' Union (DUCSU) election Chief Returning Officer Prof Md Jasim Uddin has said the deployment of the Army in the security plan for the DUCSU and hall elections has not been finalised yet. He said this on Thursday in response to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement, which mentioned there is “no chance” of Army personnel being deployed for the central student union elections.
