July Revolution Fencing Championship begins tomorrow | Sports
DHAKA, Aug 28, 2025 (BSS) - The July Revolution Fencing Championship begins at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium in the capital tomorrow. Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Navy, Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Party, Border Guard Bangladesh, Private Universities and clubs will compete in the two-day meet organized by Bangladesh Fencing Federation (BFF). There will be no team events in the competition. Nearly 175 men and women fencers will participate in the three individual events. The events are eppe, sabre and foil. Fatema Mujib, Bangladesh's first gold medalist in fencing at the South Asian (SA) Games, is not taking part in the championship due to her injury problem.
