Independent Inquiry Committee submits preliminary report on BPL | Sports
DHAKA, Aug 27, 2025 (BSS)- The Independent Inquiry Committee, constituted toexamine allegations of corruption, mismanagement, and systematic failures inthe 11th edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) has submitted itspreliminary report to the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president on Tuesdayevening. In line with the international best practice and ICC guidelines, the BCBemphasizes that the report will be reviews in strict confidence and throughproper processes, the BCB said in a press release.The board reiterated: "Any individuals or entities mentioned in the reportremain subject to due process under the BCB Constitution, the ICC Anti-Corruption Code and applicable laws."
