Titas conducts drive to disconnect illegal gas connections in Munshiganj, Rupganj | News
DHAKA, Aug 27, 2025 (BSS) - Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Limited has conducted two separate drives in Munshiganj and Rupganj to disconnect illegal gas connections. According to a press release, illegal gas connections at six locations were cut off during the operations, and a large quantity of unauthorized pipelines and equipment was seized. On Tuesday, drives were carried out in Muktarpur, Panchasar, and Munshiganj Sadar to remove illegal gas lines. Illegal gas usage was identified at three locations. Among them, M/S Tanmoy Fishing Net Industrial Limited -an industrial establishment- was found to be unlawfully using gas through a residential connection.
